School Creek Baptist Church

 

               RESPONSIBILITES

1. After consulting with pastor, select and lead music to include both traditional hymns and contemporary songs for Sunday service, special events, holidays and community activities.

2. Plan and direct rehearsals with choir and (if needed) with technical staff.

3. Learn VBS  songs and motions and lead for VBS.

4. Develop and encourage musical talent among congregation.

5. Plan and organize Christmas caroling.

6. Organize and maintain a music library- electronic and (if needed) hard copy.

7. Report songs to CCLI.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

1.  A professing Christian with strong Southern Baptist beliefs and lifestyle.                                                           
2. Technical experience with sound systems, Power Point, ProPresenter, and recording.                                             
3. Working knowledge of music and preferably experience in leading a choir.  Playing an instrument is a plus.           
4. Strong, organized communication in speech and singing to lead congregation to worship.                                        
5. Dependable-help provide replacements during absences.                                                                          
6. Support church activities.                                                   
7. Working knowledge of “Word” computer program.
